REALISTIC IMAGE OF THE ENTRANCE TO THE BAVARIA MUSEUM

GENERAL OBJECTIVE:
Revitalize the old Bavaria factory of the roof headquarters and its surroundings through the configuration of the industrial landscape by designing a multi-scale intervention proposal, from the concept of Industrial landscape of the site of the old factory and the environmental connection with the pre-existing mesh in order to make visible the industrial heritage associated with its social, economic, administrative and environmental impact in the city of Bogota and throughout the country.
RECOVERY OF THE INDUSTRIAL LANDSCAPE OF BAVARIA-ROOF HEADQUARTERS.

PROBLEMS IN WHICH THE WORK IS INSCRIBED:
The main problem for which the work is developed is the immeasurable abandonment of the old Bavaria factory in the roof headquarters more than 40 years ago, likewise, the little appropriation of the citizenship for the history and renown of the Bavaria factory since the year 1898.
This responds to the line of neglect of the industrial landscape in the city of Bogota, this neglect has generated vandalism, insecurity and oblivion of important urban pieces for the layout and memory of Bogota. The factory roof headquarters makes up one of the most productive areas that the city has had and the desolation that today is framed in this site generates an opportunity to be preserved and rebuilt for the next generations, calling the community to its memory and care of the cultural and historical landmark of Bogota, also responding to the appropriation of the intangible heritage that we have in Bogota and Colombia as is the Bavaria brand.

APPROACH TO THE URBAN PIECE
SCOPE. The scope of the project concludes with an architectural proposal within the site with an articulation on a zonal scale related to environmental and social issues.
The intervention responds to the preservation of the cultural significance that surrounds the Bavaria brand in the country, being this an intervention measured and agreed by the determinants of the site which will provide an added value to the heritage expression found in the roof headquarters of the old factory, such architectural development will correspond to a memory center and a museum type adequacy on the history and production of Bavaria beer in Colombia.
Regarding the zonal scale, an urban proposal of environmental character is made, where the objective is to preserve and strengthen the Fucha River and its smaller scale connections such as the neighborhood and pocket parks, which play a fundamental role in the immediate context of the site, this will be reflected in the integration thought within the urban piece with the new uses of the botanical garden, currently called Bosque Bavaria.
This is the culmination of the first stages of intervention to the old Bavaria factory, integrating its context and providing new strategic uses within the urban piece to enhance it and generate an appropriation of the cultural and industrial landscape of what the Bavaria brand emits in Colombia.
