CONCURSO TIKUNA´S COLIVING
FUNDAMENTAL BASIS OF THE PROJECT
Our articulating concept was based on a 3x3 cube which would serve as the basis for the layout of the internal spaces and the structure of the project.
By generating subtractions and additions we were able to create new spatialities that would make up the different levels of the hotel.
Finally, the façade treatment completes the dynamics of distribution and permeability of the space, relating it directly to the materiality of its immediate surroundings.

The project is distributed in 3 levels which have different activities and visuals in the 4 facades since the basis of the project is to connect with the nature of the Amazon rainforest.
The treatment of the façade was fundamental for the proper functioning of the project, since it complements the heavy structure of the foundations, such as columns and beams, with a light complement of a perforated façade to allow light and ventilation to enter.
