INDIGENOUS UNIVERSITY
During the second semester of 2019, we had the opportunity to participate in a parallel work within the activities of the New Territories project in which we postulated the opportunity to create the first indigenous university in Colombia in collaboration with the indigenous community INGA and working in partnership with the ETH University of Zurich, which allowed a semester of teamwork with the opportunity to visit the area in question and result in some first approaches for higher education to different communities.

An investigation was carried out using the siac tool to find certain maps that would help us understand the situation of the country in relation to the natural events that occur on a daily basis.

A study was carried out with Professor Santiago Pradilla to understand and study the different indigenous communities in Colombia, where analyzing their contexts and territories gives us a broader picture for the approach of a university.
FIELD TRIP TO PUTUMAYO

During the field trip to Putumayo, we found the possibility of understanding and living with a Colombian indigenous community, where their teachings and above all their needs were the central focus for our initial approach as research of different characteristics of the indigenous community.
In this trip we visited different places near the town of Villagarzón which is the main focus of the INGA indigenous community where it is settled and where it carries out all its activities.
RESEARCH PROJECT DELIVERY
In the final delivery, a manual log of the process of interpretation of the different thermal floors in the territory of Villagazon was made and how these points help to understand the different flora and fauna of the place, which are important for the indigenous community.
